Sylvia Ninh is a 21-year-old illustrator and graphic designer based in London.

Before coming to the UK, she grew up in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, a bustling city whose noise and culture still inspires her today. Creating art has been a passion that started at a young age, with each new piece of work shaping her artistic voice into one that wishes to share stories with the world, whether they be her own or from others.

Her primary tool of expression is drawing, which she enjoys developing into comics, zines, storybooks and animations. Often inspired by her upbringing in Vietnam, her work revolves around the experiences of those around her or people she has come across, allowing her art to be a voice for these stories to be told. She works with both traditional and digital mediums, from charcoal sketches to animated sequences, and she believes that every project deserves its own distinct identity.
